Flourish Together is delighted to be bringing our fifth ‘Time to Grow’ programme to Greater Manchester, in partnership with The National Lottery Reaching Communities Fund, Manchester City Council and NatWest.

The Flourish Hub, which is situated on the first floor of Heaton Chapel station has seen a flurry of activity in recent months, from community events, coworkers and more and it got us thinking…

Post Covid19 we are all much more adept and acclimatised to the remote working philosophy, with many of us moving to the work from home model more permanently or enjoying the blend of hybrid working but what of the home alone working blues? A study from Nuffield Health found that “80% of Brits feel working from home has had a negative effect on their mental health,” – with the predominant reasoning being “loneliness and isolation…,”

Flourish Hub Launch Event: A Evening of Connection, Wellbeing, and Celebration

On Wednesday 19th July, Flourish celebrated the official launch of the Flourish Hub, located on the first floor above Heaton Chapel Station. Many people from our fantastic network joined us, including local changemakers, supporters from the voluntary sector and Manchester City Council.

It was brilliant to be joined by so many faces old and new, giving people the chance to catch up and network with community groups and social entrepreneurs from Heaton Chapel, Stockport and across Greater Manchester.  Delicious food was provided by Sofra Mcr, Arabian Twilight Cafe and Amazeballz Amazecakez plus we hosted our sister company’s ever-popular Pop Up Spa providing wellbeing and holistic treatments throughout the evening.
