Flourish Together is seeking a range of executive and non-executive board Directors for our Community Interest Company.
Flourish are excited to announce that we are going through a period of expansion and are recruiting for a range of roles on both our operational staff team and at board level!
We are looking for dedicated, energetic people who share our values in building a strong social economy as well as investing in diverse women as a force for social change, whilst creating new community assets, resources and innovations.
We celebrated 10 years of supporting women as a force for social change in 2023 and 2024 -2027 sees a period of step change for the organisation as we expand our programmes, intensive support for social enterprises and charities, plus develop new community-led assets ( physical and digital). People of all genders and backgrounds, particularly those with cross-sector experience are sought, to complement our existing team. We are looking for specific skills in the following:
-Operations and HR
-Bidwriting, commissioning and procurement
-Community venue and asset management (including housing)
-Organisational growth strategy
-E-learning and digital platform development
The commitment is up to two days per month pro-bono, to support the strategic development the organisation, with a quarterly meeting remotely and occasional requests to represent the organisation. There is also scope to collaborate and co-create new work programmes and initiatives as part of our paid associate pool, depending on your expertise and organisational needs and capacity. Board members’ out of pocket expenses can be reimbursed.
We are looking for people who are used to working in innovative and agile environments, who have experience of leading change and supporting others to achieve their potential and have a drive and commitment to creating positive social change at systemic and community levels.

Volunteer Opportunities
We are also seeking to create volunteer opportunities to support with ad hoc events, research, social media and communication, as well as assist with the running of our new Social Enterprise Hub in Heaton Chapel. So if you have 4-12 hours per week spare to assist, develop your skills and make new connections please do feel free to send us a CV and covering letter.
